2010 Redcliff Scholarship winners announced

Redcliff, AB - Arnold Frank, Redcliff Trustee for Prairie Rose School Division No. 8, is pleased to announce the winners of the 2010 Redcliff Scholarships for Advanced Education are Jenae Podesta and Ty Hudec. The scholarships are each for $4,000 toward first-year tuition for post-secondary studies.

Jenae (2009) and Ty (2010) are graduates of Eagle Butte High School. Jenae is enrolled for study in the Respiratory Therapy program of the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) in Calgary. Ty plans to study Television Broadcasting at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) in Edmonton in the fall.

The Redcliff Scholarships were established in 2002, and have since been awarded to 13 students from the Redcliff community. The awards are possible thanks to two endowed scholarship funds which were established and are being sustained by ongoing contributions of Redcliff organizations and present and past Redcliff citizens.
