MWS this week

MWS this week

Here are some messages for this week from Margaret Wooding School.

MWS is open today.  Ours phones are currently not working properly, allowing us to call out but not to receive calls.  If you need to contact us, please email and we will do our best to help.

Tuesday is science fair for grade 5's.  Displays and information will be displayed in the gym all day.  5A's will present from 9:00-10:10, 5B's will present from 10:30-11:30, and 5C will present from 12:30-1:30.  Parents and community members are invoted and encouraged to visit our student displays and talk to our young scientists during the day.

Tuesday is also our final skating day for grade 4's.  The weather projects to warm up so we should be able to walk over and skate.

Wednesday February 14th is our final skating day for grade 5's.  It is also Valentine's Day.  Individual classes are having valentine activities.

There is a chili and corn muffin hot lunch this Thursday.

Friday is our ski trip and the weather looks to be great!  Busses for skiers leave the school at 8:00, so students and parent volunteers are asked to be in their classrooms at 7:45.  The busses return to the school at about 4:30pm.  Please read the information sheet that should be in your child's agenda today.  For those non-skiers, it is a school day and the school will be open regular hours.  Teachers have planned fun school-based activities to do throughout the day.

There is no school for students all next week.  That is not a typo.  Enjoy your week off as the teachers get to be the ones to learn.
