Irvine Vice Principal Announcement - Kerry Watson

Superintendent Roger Clarke and Irvine School principal Trent Rayner are pleased to announce that Kerry Watson has accepted the position as vice principal of Irvine School, following the retirement of Cyndy Lutz at the end of the 2020-2021 school year. Mrs. Watson is currently the principal of Schuler School.

Kerry Watson started her teaching career in Lethbridge in 1989 and has been with Prairie Rose Public Schools since 1994. During her 22 year career she has worked at Senator Gershaw School (4-12) in Bow Island, Seven Persons School (JK-9), and at Division Office as the Coordinator of Student Services. In 2018, she accepted the position as principal of Schuler School. Kerry Watson has a Bachelor of Education and a Masters of Education from the University of Lethbridge.

Kerry Watson will make the transition to Irvine School at the end of the current school year, effective August 25, 2021. The Schuler School principal position will be advertised later this spring.
